Manufacturing

Manufacturers, shortlisted on capability before anyone picks up the phone.

A sourcing buyer builds the shortlist from capability pages, certifications and other buyers, long before an RFQ arrives. We put manufacturers in capability searches and turn those visits into RFQ requests.

What they ask

  1. AI assistant How to select a contract manufacturer?
  2. Google What are the four types of suppliers?
  3. Paid result What's a good way to find the best supplier?
  4. Your capability page What are the 5 key supplier evaluation criteria?
  5. Independent proof How much does contract manufacturing cost?
  6. Addition works the whole search journey for you, all the way to the quote. Where would you like us to start? Runs under all of it:Conversion rate optimization

Hard problems we solve in search for Manufacturing.

Do you say even one of these?

  • We cannot rank for the keywords that bring revenue.
  • Our site reads like it was written for Google, not for the people buying.
  • People research inside ChatGPT now, and we are not in that conversation.
  • AI cites us as a source but never recommends us.
  • I do not know which questions decide a purchase in our category.
  • We bid on keywords without knowing what the search is really asking for.
  • Performance Max spends the budget and I cannot see where it went.
  • Buyers read the capability page and never send the RFQ.
  • Traffic is up. Quote requests are not.

A roadmap no prompt can write.

Ideation, strategy and the roadmap all happen in these six steps. This is the part no AI can replicate, and it is where the value of our work comes from.

  1. Step 01

    Onboarding

We review the main channels and pages in the manufacturing buying journey, then agree on the primary conversion metric.

  2. Step 02

    The audit

Buyers shortlist on capability long before they send anything, so we find which of your capabilities the search never sees.

  3. Step 03

    Brand DNA

Your capability page probably lists the same machines and materials as everyone else's. Your copy should explain the tolerances, volumes and specialist work you can reliably deliver.

  4. Step 04

    Market & Competitors

We read the shops winning your searches, the ones bidding against you, and the ones an AI assistant names when someone asks who can make a part.

  5. Step 05

    Roadmap & Strategy

Everything we found becomes one task list, and we agree together which jobs come first, so the work that earns from search soonest is the work that starts.

  6. Step 06

    Execution

We move in weekly cycles and take the list in the order we agreed, so every week of work points at the one number.

Where do you need support?

Three promises. Hold us to them.

  1. We make capability, certifications and specifications findable, because that is what a sourcing buyer reads first.
  2. We use what the search tells you about the part, the process and the volume, and build the page to that request.
  3. We shorten the path to the RFQ, so an informed buyer can act on the page they landed on.

Two ways to start.

Pick the one that sounds like you.

Option one

I need help with one channel.

Pick it below. You will see exactly what that work covers before anyone talks about price.

Rank where buying happens, and get named by AI

  • Searches that end in a sale
  • One job per page
  • Prompts that decide the purchase

Option two

I need support across the whole search journey.

Several channels at once, plus the site itself. One scope, one number, one team running it.

  • Every search channel that matters in your category
  • The site itself, tested for conversion
  • One roadmap across all of it, ranked by return
  • One weekly session, one place the reporting lives

Questions Manufacturing brands ask before they start

What is SEO for a manufacturer?

Being the page an engineer finds when they search a process, a tolerance or a material, and being the supplier a buyer finds when they search "contract manufacturer" plus what they need. Capabilities often sit in a PDF, but the searches want a page per capability. We find which searches your capabilities answer and build those pages.

Is SEO dead now that buyers ask AI?

A buyer asking an answer engine "who can do CNC machining in titanium" gets a list of suppliers, and the list comes from readable capability pages. Put the specifications and evidence on one capability page for both Google results and AI answers.

Is $500 a month enough for Google Ads for a manufacturer?

For one capability with a clear search term, possibly. Industrial clicks are expensive and an RFQ takes weeks, so the campaign is judged on quote requests, not clicks. We say the floor before launch and track the RFQ as the conversion.

How long does it take to see RFQs from search?

Technical fixes show in weeks. Capability pages usually take two to three months to settle because the index has to trust them, and an RFQ cycle adds its own weeks after the visit. The plan says which pages are which before we start.
