SEO SKILLS

SEO skills for Claude Code, Cursor and Codex

Audits, technical checks, product-page scoring, programmatic pages and structured data, from two libraries. 5 skills from 2 libraries, 4 of them running with no key, every one read in full and run once.

Together

What these skills do together

  1. Audit: seo-audit

One URL in, a health score and an action plan out. Run it first so the rest have something to fix.

  2. Fix the platform: seo-technical

Crawlability, indexability, rendering and the crawler table. The findings here decide whether anything else is visible.

  3. Score the money pages: seo-ecommerce

Product pages and their schema, the surface a store earns from.

  4. Mark up: schema

JSON-LD for what the pages contain, validated before deploy.

  5. Scale, if the data supports it: programmatic-seo

Only with data that is yours; the skill says so before you build.

Limits

What a skill cannot replace

None of these skills can see your Search Console, your CrUX field data or your competitors’ rankings unless you connect them. An audit run without those is a read of the HTML, and a good one; it is not a measurement of what Google is doing with the site. That is the part an agency is for, and it is the part we do.

Questions

Questions people ask before installing

Can Claude Code help with SEO?

For the parts that are reading and structure, yes, and the five skills here are the best of what we read: they crawl, score, validate and plan. For the parts that are measurement (rankings, field Core Web Vitals, indexation), only with a data connection, and two of the toolkits on this site provide it.

Which one do I install first?

seo-audit if you have a site and a question; schema if you have one page to mark up; programmatic-seo if you are deciding whether to build a page set.

Do these work on Shopify?

Yes. They read rendered HTML, so the platform does not matter, and seo-ecommerce is written for product pages.
